Privacy Policy
What We Collect
Fork collects the minimum data needed to operate:
- Email address (account authentication)
- Restaurant nominations you create
- Pick history within a session
- Approximate location (used on-device to show distances; never stored on our servers)
- Device push token (optional, used only to notify you when your partner picks)
How We Use It
We use your data solely to run the Fork service — matching nominators with pickers, notifying you of results, and maintaining your account. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described below.
Third-Party Services
Fork relies on a few services that process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Expo — push notifications
- Google Places — when you search for restaurants, your search terms and approximate location are sent to Google to return nearby results
We do not otherwise share your personal information.
Data Retention
Sessions and their restaurant data are stored until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing gabriel052.gf@gmail.com — we'll remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Children
Fork is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
